Songs That Feel Like Warm Hugs When You Need A Shoulder To Cry On

We’re not always in the mood to “PAR-TAY” and sometimes you only need that “good cry” to get you going and to feel alive. Right? Please don’t tell me if it’s only me. 😳

Music therapy is THE best cause opening up to songs won’t get you involuntarily hospitalized & above all of that, you will feel lighter too 🤷‍♂️ It’s a win-win game, isn’t it, love? Anyway, I did a lot of search for these songs; you may call me a musicologist (if you will) & here are some of them which touched me the most. 😢

Cancer – Twenty One Pilots

You can tell by the name of the song what it’s gonna be about. Ten seconds into this song and I could feel my eyes getting watery. This is cover of song originally recorded by My Chemical Romance. But, Tyler sang that song in such a gentle voice, ah legendary!

Jealous – Labrinth

This song had me reminiscing people I never even dated & or even met if you will. It’s just gonna take you somewhere, so hold on to your chair. This song is a lyrical masterpiece – I’m jealous of the rain; That falls upon your skin; It’s closer than my hands have been…

Lookalike – Conan Gray

Conan Gray, genuinely an icon and did such a fantastic job on this record, can’t help but applaud and cry to this live session!

when the party’s over – Billie Eilish

Okay, I don’t like being dramatic at AWLLLL, but Billie Eilish is way too young to have people screaming at the top of their lungs. She is remarkably talented & you can’t deny that! This song – without a doubt, is my most favourite song when I need to cry for no reason! Works every damn time ☹️

Let It Go – James Bay

I discovered this song last year & I have been listening to it non-stop. You just never get tired of it! It’s about the mismatch of the singer & how much he rues his love. Cold Pain never bothers me anyway, LOL.

Unsteady – X Ambassadors

This song is about a kid whose parents are separating & he just wants the things to go back to normal or just the way they were.

I’ll Be Good – Jaymes Young

Jaymes wrote this song when he was alienated from society. Goosebumps guaranteed!
